Jebsen & Jessen acquires a 60% stake in PT Indo Tirta Abadi, a beverage packaging manufacturer in Indonesia.

Pickering Pacific is delighted to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Jebsen & Jessen on the acquisition of a 60% stake in PT Indo Tirta Abadi (“ITA”), an Indonesia-based beverage packaging manufacturer. ITA’s 2019 revenue was SGD 42m and it employs 500 people. The transaction was signed on 31 January 2020 and is expected to close in early March 2020.

ITA is a leading Indonesian beverage packaging manufacturer, supplying top global brands such as Danone (Aqua), Coca-Cola, Sosro, Nestle and Yeo’s. Its product portfolio consists of PET bottles, PET preforms and HDPE closures.

Jebsen & Jessen is a diversified industrial group operating in Southeast Asia, with a network spanning 30 locations, including 9 manufacturing facilities. Operating across the region, its activities span manufacturing, engineering and distribution. Jebsen & Jessen has five core business units: Cable Technology, Ingredients, Life Sciences, Packaging and Technology.

This is the sixth completed transaction since 2016 for which Pickering Pacific has advised Jebsen & Jessen.
